The HRI office reception area was created as part of a Textual Creations TurboCAD tutorial geared toward architectural design. Construction relied greatly on the various architectural tools available in TurboCAD including the Wall tool, the Window tool, the Door tool plus others. Many of the modeled components were created by revolving or lofting 2D profiles. Others were simply imported and placed within the office reception area so those working through the tutorial would experience this aspect.

A photo was used as a background in the scene which is visible outside the windows. Extensive use of image wrapping was used to create the various wall hangings and the reception counter surround. As with all TurboCAD drawings, materials were selected or created and applied to the various components to create a pleasing scene. Special attention was used when selecting render scene luminance so that the light from outside the office reception would shine through the windows.
