Design Custom Cabinets & Furniture with Ease

TurboCAD Furniture Maker v8 (TCFM) is a special plug-in created for woodworkers, interior designers, or anyone who uses TurboCAD for interior design and the production of custom cabinets and furniture sets. TurboCAD Furniture Maker comes with a symbol library for kitchen, home and office furniture, including chairs, tables and cabinets, and also works with parametric symbols created within the TurboCAD program. New version 8 also includes a material library of 800 materials. Through the use of the program, it is easy to make changes to both the materials and the size of the furniture models. Customize dimensions, materials, and every furniture element (doors, clamps, office table footing, shelf footing, window and door panels etc.).

When customization is complete, choose from a menu of outputs suitable for the production of the furniture with information on prices of consumed materials for custom orders, including optimization of sectioning plans of surface area material. Subsequent data transfer to the newly updated DAEX CUT software module offers data processing for production (parts lists, material totals, optimizing of sectioning plans) and the price balance. Furniture created in TCFM can be inserted into your TurboCAD drawing or saved as symbols in the TurboCAD library. Further modification within TurboCAD is easy and the furniture symbols can be used in effective interior design presentations. For example, if you create a 3D kitchen design and you or your customer wants to make changes to either a cabinet's doors, door handles, edges or color, it is possible to do this almost immediately, owing to the parametric nature of the furniture created with TCFM. TCFM also allows for the export of the furniture information. This information can be exported in either a CSV or XML fomat and such data can then be further used as a Bill of Materials or other business purposes.
