PaulTheCAD's Tips - The Line Tools

Any tool you chose changes the Inspector Bar at the bottom so that it relates to that tool. With the line tool, that is just length and direction, so when drawing the line you can specify these details. However, when you select the line, after you have drawn it, the inspector bar will not display the true length of that line. To get this you will need to go to TOOLS – Pallets – Selection Information.

If you draw a polyline with a number of sections and wish to know the complete length, Selection Information will give you this information. Also, you can change the lines’ style from here.
