TurboCAD free maintenance update is now available

Since TurboCAD 2015 initially shipped, several fixes and user requested changes have been made to the code base. These include improvements to the UI, tool functionality, as well as the DWG, IFC and other file interop and Redsdk printing capabilities. 

Additionally, the following new options were added:

• New Redsdk Shadow Maps are now supported.

• New Export to RED file feature that allows users to export the active RedSDK scene in the user-specified RED file, an archive file which stores the geometry, camera settings, and attributes of the render scene (materials, lights, environments).

• New Render Manager Defaults – The preview mode in the render manager is now set to raytrace preview for more efficient previews when editing of Redsdk luminances and materials. As before, users can still adjust the settings to their preferences.

• New Luminances added to the "Pre-defined" category: (1) Preview, 70W and (2) Preview, Metric, 70W.

• New Redsdk Sky Luminance Parameter – a new emissive background parameter called turbidity has been added to the Redsdk Sky luminances for more realistic lighting.

• Improved Roof Tool with a new "One Step Back" option added.

• New Toggle Option between the Conceptual Selector and the Classic Selector in 3D selector mode using the added hotkey F8.
